Privacy Policy

MooneChild Enterprise, LLC (“MooneChild,” “we,” “us,” “our”) is a creative technology company. This policy covers information we handle across our websites and products — including the Simplex DAW assistant, ChordCraft, and this site.

Important: The EvenKeel Health Companion app has its own, more detailed privacy policy because it handles consumer health data. If you use EvenKeel, that policy — not this one — governs your health information: EvenKeel Privacy Policy.

• Account information you give us: name, email address, and password when you create an account for one of our products.
• Content you create and store with our products, such as music projects, artwork, and files you upload.
• Payment status through Stripe when you buy a subscription or product. We never see or store full card numbers.
• Support messages you send us.
• Basic device and usage data needed to keep the products working and secure.

To provide the product you signed up for; to process payments; to provide support; to maintain, secure, and improve our products; to communicate with you about your account; and to comply with the law.

Named service providers, each under confidentiality obligations:

• Supabase — hosting and database.
• Stripe — payment processing.
• Email delivery providers — transactional messages like receipts and account notices.

We also disclose information for legal or safety reasons when required by law, and to a successor entity in a merger or acquisition — with notice to you first.

You may:

• Access the data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate data.
• Obtain a portable copy.
• Delete your data, including backups, within 6 months.
• Appeal a denied request.

We respond within 45 days, with one possible 45-day extension. Requests are free up to twice a year. Depending on where you live, additional rights may apply under state privacy laws, including California’s.

We use encryption in transit, access controls, and regular security review. If a breach affecting your personal information occurs, we will notify affected users as required by applicable law.

We retain your data while your account is active, plus a limited period afterward for legal and dispute-resolution purposes. Following a deletion request, data — including backups — is deleted within 6 months, except where the law requires longer retention.

Our products are not directed to anyone under 13 (or under 16 where required by law), and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

When this policy changes materially, we will notify you and, where required, ask for your consent before the change takes effect.
